- Discussion about the possibility that the site at 12th and Yesler could become the location of a streetcar maintenance facility. (Seattle Housing Authority and Ethan Melone of SDOT.) The SHA – owned site at the northwest corner of 12th and Yesler is one of two sites still under consideration for the streetcar maintenance facility. How can this be designed to contribute to the 12th Avenue Plan for a pedestrian-friendly residential and retail street?
- Update on King County’s plans for building a new Youth Services facility at 12th and Alder and other possible future developments on that site.
- Update on design of park at 12th and James Ct. and application for funds to develop James Ct. as a woonerf.
- Update on future development of City-owned site at 12th and Jefferson.
- Conversation with Seattle Housing Authority about the “Choice Neighborhoods” community planning program.
- Presentation by the Bullitt Foundation on their proposed building, the Cascadia Center for Sustainable Design and Construction, at 15th and Madison
